A closed-room story built on doubt
The Trial begins with a direct premise: someone has been murdered and the truth must come out. The characters face one another in a confrontation where every answer may be a clue or a lie. Dialogue, looks and incomplete information constantly move suspicion from one person to another.
A step toward larger productions
Directed by Wil Aime and created with a still-light production setup, the project stands between the earliest mobile videos and the longer films later produced by Chaque Détail Productions. An iPhone 7 and a Final Cut Pro workflow turned technical constraints into proximity and pace.
Collective work
In 2018, Anly increasingly focused on production behind the camera. The Trial belongs to that period of work with Wil Aime and the Chaque Détail Productions team.
